Pneumatic Transport of Bulk Materials

Powder, granules and many other dry bulk materials can be transported through closed pipelines using differential pressure and gas/air flow. The concept of pneumatic conveying systems is to use pressure differential to cost-effectively move bulk materials from one process area to another in the food industry, pharmaceutical industry, pet food plants, chemical industry and even in the admixture manufacturing segment.

Application of pneumatic transport:

The system of pneumatic transport (vacuum) of bulk materials proves itself wherever, due to the characteristics of the transported material, special attention must be paid, for example, due to the need to maintain its highest purity (such as pharmaceuticals) or the occurrence of the need to reduce dust.

A vacuum transport system replaces manual handling or mechanical transport. Screw conveyors, bucket elevators, belt conveyors, pillar elevators, tablet elevators or other bulk material feeders cannot compete with the versatility and small size of vacuum conveyors. Pneumatic trasnports are ideal for fragile products, such as chorni fragile tablets from chipping.

They can be used for loading and unloading bags, tablet press feeder, filling mishmashers and mixers, packaging machines, sieves. They auotmatize work in factories from the industrial, pharmaceutical, chemical or 3D printing sectors.
